Well you were right; this stuff is great - I didn't believe you that it wouldn't slide around because everything else we've tried on our boat has not worked - including snapping down runners thru the other carpet. Your CarpetSaver seems too simple to work...but it does!

My carpet is imported and I tried everything. Unbelievable, the way it stays put and holds onto dirt. Now the bulky runners stuffed in my (stateroom) closet are obsolete. My fiancee loves to walk on it barefoot. I put some on my counters for tools and parts. I'm always fixing or upgrading something.

We have a motor yacht with a cream colored rug throughout the entire boat. We had tried everything to keep it free of stains, dirt etc; shoes off, guests outside when eating, plastic sticky carpet savers, (they crinkled and spills slid off them onto the carpet). The stairs leading inside the boat also were a problem. I tried rugs, nailing, tacking; only to have them bunch up. 

I tried your CarpetSaver product. We got the wide piece and made a template that covered the salon of the boat. It DOES NOT MOVE. It looks very professional, it is light-weight and easy to shake out over the side of the boat if I have to; and I have washed it and it looks brand new. Not to mention, I have spilled, dropped food and walked on it and stained it without any of the dirt, liquids etc touching my cream-colored carpet. If I want to take the carpet saver up to display my carpet for a day, it folds up nicely and takes hardly any room. I could not believe that this product also actually molded to my stairsthat lead to the salon of the boat as well as the stairs throughout the boat. One piece molds to the stairs all the way down like a glove. It does not bunch up or come off. I can also lightly vacuum the CarpetSaver and it stays in place. 

I wish I would have known about this a couple of years go. 

For boaters, you have a WINNING product as far as I am concerned. I am surprised I haven't seen the product here in New England, (Boater's Paradise). 

Thanks for your economical, clean looking, CarpetSaver.....replacing carpet on a boat is very expensive and this product is the best protection at a good price and it looks good.

The CarpetSaver is working just fine. We had a lot of company on the boat this summer and it was so nice to just take up the CarpetSaver, throw it in the wash and lay it back down.

I told you I would send you some digital photos of the CarpetSaver on my 50' Ocean. They are attached. The first photo is looking down the stairs to the staterooms from the galley. The second photo is looking from the stateroom hall toward the stairs, the third photo is looking from the guest stateroom up the hall to the stairs, the forth is looking toward the guest stateroom. I did the stairs and the hall into the guest stateroom. We put some scatter rug on top of the CarpetSaver where there were seams. I think it looks pretty good.

I discovered that by sweeping each stair with a broom removed not only loose dirt but what appeared as dirty footprints as well. Sort of like the suede brush we used years ago on shoes. I will now wash it but probably once a month in the winter will do. Just thought you would like to know. And I have received many compliments, and inquiries on where to purchase it. Thanks again.

I purchased CarpetSaver to cover the new carpet on our steps. With three kids running up and down the steps 100 times a day, I needed a product that would not create a hazard by sliding and also be able to wash when dirty. I just bought a "Swivel Sweeper" from my local supermarket...it can also be bought online or as a TV offer, I believe. It performs marvelously on your runner and does not cause the runner to be sucked into the vacuum cleaner the way that the mechanism of a more powerful, traditional vacuum cleaner sucks in the runner. It costs about $40.00 for this little, very light, portable, battery operated product. Swivel Sweeper.

I thought that you might find this info useful at some stage as a recommendation for customers who use the runners, regularly, or who have large areas of it installed. In being able to vacuum my own runners, I am removing them for washing or just shaking them out, far far less often than I used to, before getting the Swivel Sweeper. Also, perhaps when you have a really large order with a good customer, you might think of throwing in a complimentary Swivel Sweeper with the order as an incentive for other large orders.

...just a few thoughts for you to think about if you wish. I really am happy with my runners and am saving so much time and expenditure on cleaning the high traffic areas. Besides, my little mini dachshund loves the feel of it and often just lies on the runner, or bypasses the tile on the way in and out of the house by walking on the runner instead ;-).

The CarpetSaver is working great. The first time I washed it, I could still see a very faint outline of the stain that was on the piece I bought (but I had to look hard to find it.) The second time I washed it, all traces were gone. That's the best feature of the CarpetSaver - its washability. I have washed that same piece at least 5 times since I bought it & it still looks great. You may want to advise customers to cut it a little longer than you want (about an inch or so) if you are cutting it to fit an exact length, because it shrinks just a little. The fact is, you can stretch it back out to almost the same length, and it doesn't seem to shrink further with additional washings, but it averts panic if you leave it a little longer in the first place. Anyway, it is a life saver for owners of doggies and small children alike! Thanks for your continued support, Happy New Year to you, too!
