Love the carpet saver. Great value for the price. I have carpeted stairs, which I find difficult to keep clean with four pets storming through house and garden. The carpet safer keeps the stairs in pristine condition. Has a nice neutral color that works great with my carpets. Just throw in washing machine to clean. For quick clean-up in between and to pickup hairs, I can use a vacuum on VERY LOW setting with a parquet cleaner attachment. This will extend the life of my carpets immensely!!!

This product has been a lifesaver in time and money. I purchased it from a catalog several years ago and couldn't live without it. I take care of children in my home and have constant foot traffic up and down my split-level stairs to get to the playroom. I have to wash this product EVERY week and it is still wonderful. No holes at all. Lightweight, easy to lay down, doesn't slide or move around. When it's dirty simply throw it in the wash and it's good as new again. If I had to clean the carpet on the stairs every week, my carpet would have long ago been ruined. I love it.

I discovered that by sweeping each stair with a broom removed not only loose dirt but what appeared as dirty footprints as well. I will now wash it but probably once a month in the winter will do. CarpetSaver®is great when my pets come in all wet and muddy. It is soft and absorbent, so a lot of the water mud is soaked up. It is also much warmer on the tile of the mud room. When they have dried off, I simply toss it in the washing machine. Great pet product!

I loved this product so much that I bought another roll. My neighbor warned me that with beige carpet on the steps, the carpet would get black fast from people walking in from pavement. I use it to protect white carpeting during internal house construction, I originally used sticky plastic carpet coverings which left sticky residue that still hasn't come out. Then I found your carpet saver and have it in both colors for a change when washing one. It survived beautifully through the most recent internal construction project... but I'm glad I have two, because one is stained now from the construction. I definitely recommend this - it doesn't slide - a BIG plus - wish it were a bit less expensive."

I tried your CarpetSaver product. We got the wide piece and made a template that covered the salon of the boat. It DOES NOT MOVE. It looks very professional, it is light-weight and easy to shake out over the side of the boat if I have to; and I have washed it and it looks brand new. Not to mention, I have spilled, dropped food and walked on it and stained it without any of the dirt, liquids, etc. touching my cream-colored carpet. If I want to take the CarpetSaver up to display my carpet for a day, it folds up nicely and takes hardly any room. I could not believe that this product also actually molded to my stairs that lead to the saloon of the boat as well as the stairs throughout the boat. One piece molds to the stairs all the way down like a glove. It does not bunch up or come off. I can also lightly vacuum the CarpetSaver and it stays in place.

I wish I would have known about this a couple of years ago. For boaters, you have a WINNING product as far as I am concerned. I am surprised I haven't seen the product here in New England, (Boater's Paradise). Thanks for your economical, clean looking, CarpetSaver....replacing carpet on a boat is very expensive and this product is the best protection at a good price and it looks good.

I bought this over 5 years ago from another company. I have 3 cats - enough said. I use this as a runner from my front door to the kitchen. Stains I can't seem to get out of my wall-to-wall plush carpet washed right out of the runner in the washing machine. After about 3-4 years, it started to get small holes in it and some of the foam backing was coming off. However, it still did the job - holes and all. Yes it is thin, but anything thicker in this size would not be able to go into an ordinary household washing machine. The fact that it finally needs to be replaced after over 5 years of use, makes this a good investment. I wash this runner every 2 months or so. Great for everyday use. If you are having company, just pull it right up and put it back down when everyone leaves. I just bought my second one because I refuse to lug out the carpet cleaner for my high traffic area every month. If you are looking for a high fashion, high quality runner then this is not for you. If you are looking for a practical solution to high traffic dirt and grime, then this is the product you have been waiting for.

With the exception of the bedrooms, all of our floors are tile. As our wonderful dog Bailey has gotten older, he's not as sure-footed. We now have a CarpetSaver® runner going the length of the main hallway plus individual "rugs" in each doorway. Bailey no longer hesitates before entering a room.

"I use these runners on top of my carpet to protect against the "dirty" paws of my dogs. They have free reign outside and 75% of the time, they come in with very dirty paws. This runner removes most of the dirt and keeps the rest of the house clean. They are extremely easy to clean by just dumping in the wash machine, then dryer and back on the floor.
